VISIT TAROU
This time, I’d like to introduce Nara Prefecture. As the electoral district of Japan’s first female prime minister, I really want everyone to know about Nara Prefecture. I’m sure guidebooks feature attractions like the Great Buddha of Nara and Nara Park. I’d especially like to share some fun places to visit with children.
Nara Prefecture is famous for its deer, but since Nara was once the capital long ago, it also has many architectural structures and Buddhist statues.
NARA KINGYO MUSEUM
Goldfish have been kept in Japan since ancient times, so it’s common for Japanese people to buy goldfish in summer. This museum introduces goldfish and goldfish bowls, making it more akin to an art museum.
NARA KENKOU LAND
If you love hot springs, we’d like to introduce you to this place. Wouldn’t you like to easily enjoy Japanese hot springs with your children? Hot springs have long been said to support the health of both mind and body. Please use this facility to create wonderful memories.
NARAMACHI KARAKURI
This is a museum showcasing mechanical toys. It features many ancient contraptions designed to amaze both children and adults. It’s sure to be a great opportunity for children. Please check the website for holidays and closing days before visiting.
If you’d like to know more details or want recommendations for other places, please leave a comment in the comment section below. I’m sure it will make for a wonderful trip to Japan, so feel free to send your comments.
